We are looking for motivated students who want to work on real cybersecurity problems — threat intelligence, malware analysis, cyber forensics, and AI for security. You will work with live data, publish, and build tools that get used.
Who we are looking for
- M.Tech (RA/TA) — students at IIT Hyderabad looking for a thesis in security. Strong systems fundamentals and a willingness to write code.
- Ph.D. — candidates with a clear research interest in one of our areas.
- B.Tech mini projects — IITH undergraduates, typically for one semester.
- Interns — students from outside IITH, subject to availability.
What helps
Comfort with Linux and networking, some reverse engineering or ML background, and evidence that you build things — CTF write-ups, a GitHub profile, a tool you wrote. None of these are hard requirements.
