Sagar Deshmukh

Mr. Sagar completed his B.Tech in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT Allahabad), Prayagraj. He is currently pursuing his M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad), where he is working under the guidance of Dr. Saurabh Kumar.

His research focuses on firmware security, with particular emphasis on the security and cryptanalysis of secure boot mechanisms and firmware update pipelines. His work explores vulnerabilities in low-level system components and mechanisms for strengthening the integrity and trustworthiness of firmware and the system boot process.

His research interests lie at the intersection of low-level systems and cybersecurity, including firmware security, secure boot, firmware update integrity, hardware-rooted security, and secure systems design.
