Nimesh Tewari

Mr. Nimesh Tewari is currently pursuing his M.Tech in Network and Information Security at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad). His research focuses on ransomware detection in Linux environments, with an emphasis on analyzing malicious system-level behaviors and developing proactive defense mechanisms.

Prior to joining IIT Hyderabad, he completed his M.Tech in Naval Weapons and Sensors from Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT). He holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

His research interests include ransomware detection and analysis, defensive cybersecurity, operating system security, threat detection architectures, and secure systems design.
